While Jamie was being born in 1993 his brain was starved of oxygen which caused him to develop Cerebral Palsy.
Throughout his early years and childhood Jamie had to face many different challengers after being born with a disability.
Jamie has always had a passion for sport and he tried a number of different sports which he had some success in at youth level before finding wheelchair rugby.
in 2013 Jamie was selected for the Elite Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby team and went to his first international tournament Canada cup in 2014. Since then Jamie has gone on to compete in 2 Paralympic games winning Gold with his team at Tokyo 2020 the first ever medal in the sport for any team in Europe and going on to be awarded an MBE in the 2022 New years Queen Honours list.
Jamie currently captains and holds the record for most appearances for Leicester Tigers wheelchair rugby team.
